Beauty Abounds Notecard Coloured with Stampin' Blends

Sometimes I like to do a little colouring. I find it a good way to relax and let my mind drift a little. Line images like this from the Beauty Abounds stampset are perfect for colouring.

I stamped the floral flourish in Mint Macaron ink and coloured it with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers in Old Olive and Rococo Rose. The saturated colours of the Stampin' Blends are so vibrant and these markers make it so easy to blend shades to get the effect you want.

Once the image was coloured I cut it out and mounted it on a mat of Pear Pizazz cardstock before adding it to a Whisper White card base.

Stamping a matching image on the envelope is a special touch that makes a card stand out as handmade and unique.

Snowflake Wishes Christmas Card

Here's a cheery little Christmas card using the Snowflake Wishes stampset, Whisper White cardstock and a few different "icy" looking ink colours.

I used the tiny "blizzard" stamp to stamp a background diagonally across the card base, then stamped my sentiment across the bottom. I cut four squares of Whisper White cardstock and stamped these with random snowflake images of different sizes making sure some of the snowflakes overlapped the sides, giving the impression of a glimpse of a larger image. I then adhered them to the base using Stampin' Dimensionals to give a 3D effect.

I finished it off with some Rhinestone Basic Jewels and a little glitter from Wink of Stella, because Christmas deserves a little bit of bling!

This stampset is just beautiful and there's so much choice with 17 different images included. Great for Christmas in July, a winter wedding or for fans of Anna and Elsa. The coordinating papers and accessories in the Snowflake Splendour Suite will have you working snowflakes into every occasion.

Waste not want not - Simple Giftwrap for little boxes

I save all of my card and paper scraps and I'm a bit of a hoarder when it comes to pretty ribbons and embellishments that I receive on gifts. I had a little jewellery box to wrap up for a gift and wanted to use some of what I already had, rather than buying new wrapping paper.

This is made using a strip of whisper white cardstock, which I've embossed using the Greenery embossing folder. I then wrapped this around the box, covering up the branding on there. I secured it with a pretty bow using some raffia that I recently received on a gift. You could use any ribbon or trim which you have available.

To tie the whole thing together I then used the same Greenery embossing folder on the envelope flap for the greeting card. So cute, so simple and super quick. You hardly need any supplies to achieve this pretty look.
