I was lucky enough to be gifted the Daisy punch and have been wanting to design a card using it for a while. I love the different floral designs in the Ornate Garden DSP and thought this would go beautifully with the daisy.
Using my favourite of the 2020-22 In Colors, Bumblebee, as a card base, I first stamped the "Hello Sunshine" sentiment from the Under my Umbrella stampset onto white cardstock in Bumblebee. I adhered this to the bottom of the card front and used a piece of coordinating DSP at the top. I cut a 1cm strip from the DSP and reversed the pattern to create a band across the middle.
The daisy was made using two punched daisies and a sponge dauber to add Bumblebee ink to the centre of the flower. I shaped the petals using a bone folder then glued the two pieces together, finally adhering the daisy in place on the card.
I used this at a card workshop to demonstrate the versatility of our paper and tools. It comes together really quickly once the cardstock and paper are cut to size.
Wouldn't this just brighten anyone's day?
