Designer Series Paper Card Using Free Sale-a-Bration Paper Blooms DSP

Today I've used my favourite FREE product from Sale-a-Bration, the Paper Blooms Designer Series Paper. This is a Level 1 product which means you can choose it for free with a qualifying spend of $90 excluding shipping. Its such a pretty paper with vibrant stylised flower designs. You'll have to hurry though as there is only one day left of Sale-a-Bration!

Don't worry if you're reading this after Sale-a-Bration has ended there are many other gorgeous patterned papers which would work beautifully for this design.

To create this simple card I've used both sides of one of the papers as well as some Night of Navy cardstock. The sentiment is from the Lovely You stamp set, which has such an attractive font and beautiful sentiments, some of them especially pertinent for those of us who are living at a distance from our family and unable to travel to see them for the forseeable future.

I think this "Just because" sentiment is great as it encourages us cardmakers to make cards just for keeping in touch and sending a short note, it doesn't have to be for a big occasion! For the sentiment I backed a piece of Night of Navy cardstock with a strip of the pink striped paper and used Whisper White craft ink to stamp.
